COFI 2016 speakers confirmed

February 4, 2016 - The program for COFI’s annual convention is coming together. This year's theme is “Competitiveness: at home, overseas, now and in the future.” To that end, COFI is putting together a top flight slate of speakers for our program. 

Confirmed speakers to date include:
•Bruce Anderson, chairman, Abacus Data;
•Jock Finlayson, executive vice-president and chief policy officer at the B.C. Business Council;
•Tim Sheldan, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations;
•Diane Nicholls, chief forester, Province of B.C.;
•Ken Shields, president and CEO, Conifex Timber; and
•More to come....

In addition to a strong lineup of plenary speakers, COFI will be hosting the first ever Municipal Leaders Panel Discussion with the mayors of Prince George, Williams Lake, West Kelowna and Cranbrook.

The 2016 COFI Convention takes place from April 6 to 8 at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna, B.C.
