David Gray joins PaperWorks as director of business development

July 15, 2015 — PaperWorks, Inc., a leading manufacturer of paperboard and specialized folding cartons, announced that David Gray has joined the company as director of business development.

Gray brings 20 years of significant expertise in competitive analysis, strategy development, branding, packaging/display and global supply chain with well-known paperboard packaging companies. 

“This newly-created position is just one example of PaperWork’s investment in its future growth and its commitment to developing innovative solutions for its customers. David’s successful history of establishing business relationships with top-tier consumer product companies and retailers, make him the ideal person to spearhead our new business development initiatives,” said Mark P. Roy, senior vice-president, packaging sales and business development. 

Most recently, Gray was the national account executive for RockTenn, developing new business with global mass market consumer packaged goods brand owners and retailers. Previously, he spent seven years with MeadWestvaco in business development positions. 

His track record of providing brand owners with disruptive packaging solutions has also garnered Gray several prestigious industry awards. These include an excellence award from the Paperboard Packaging Council and a Vendor of the Year award from Target.
