D.N.T. granted injunction against blockaders

Oct. 24, 2016 - D.N.T. Contracting Ltd. has been granted an injunction preventing members of Takla Lake First Nations from blocking the company's timber harvest north of Fort St. James, B.C.

The First Nation filed a lawsuit on Oct. 11, alleging the band was not property consulted before D.N.T. was granted the licence to harvest four cutblocks covering 357 hectares.
