A group of business partners is hoping to build a 20-storey wood condominium tower beside the resort. That’s two storeys higher than the University of British Columbia’s 18 storey Brock Commons, which is on track to be the world’s tallest wood building when it is completed in summer 2017.

The Penticton project is still in the concept phase. Additional details are set to be released in the coming months.
