J.D. Irving Sawmill continues operations following limited COVID-19 closure

A limited closure of J.D. Irving Sawmill near Truro, N.S., — due to three confirmed cases of COVID-19 among their staff — has ceased and operations have continued following approval from Nova Scotia Department of Labour.
Moving forward, verbal screenings for each employee will be required, as well as workers must pass through an infrared temperature camera before entering the worksite.
