B.C. tree planting season delayed due to COVID-19 precautions

Dynamic Reforestation Ltd., in Williams Lake BC are taking larger health precautions with their potential tree planter staff amid COVID-19. These precautions include having each staff member fill out a daily journal for two weeks to identify how self-isolated they are and if they have shown any COVID-19 symptoms. This will delay the planting season until early May.

Preparing for this years planting season, Dynamic Reforestation Ltd., has roughly 300 planters poised to work in camps between Clearwater and Fort St. John and Fischer BC.

“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to ensure that our operations are in alignment with the direction provided by the provincial health officer,” said Mikin Fischer, office manager for Dynamic Reforestation Ltd. in Williams Lake.
