BC First Nations Forestry Council hosts Indigenous forestry career fairs

A series of Indigenous forestry career fairs are returning in B.C. on October 19th and 27th in Nanaimo and Merritt, respectively.

The annual career fairs, organized by the BC First Nations Forestry Council, will also include an online forum on November 8 for a post event recap and discussions on skills, training, education, and employment in the B.C. forest sector.

The career fairs will feature forestry jobs in business, technology, heavy-mechanical trades, mill wright, fire fighting and more.
