Council studying First Nations in forestry
Sept. 12, 2016 - The BC First Nations Forestry Council is receiving funding from the province to identify labour demands and opportunities within the industry.

The Council will get $80,000 to lead the First Nations Regional Forestry Opportunity Studies Engagements program. The program is the first step in a larger initiative to increase First Nations engagement in the forest sector.
