BC Saw Filer’s Association Convention postponed to May 2022

June 11, 2021  By  Ellen Cools

The B.C. Saw Filer’s Association has announced its annual convention will be postponed until May 26-28, 2022.

The executive sent out the following letter to exhibitors announcing the change:

“Once again we find ourselves in the difficult position of having to make decisions in uncertain times. We are nearing the end of May with restrictions still currently in place with no certainty on what things will look like three months from now. With that in mind we regret to announce that the executive has made the decision to postpone the convention till May 26th to 28th 2022, we have booked the Coast Kamloops for those dates. With the uncertainty of the pandemic going forward it is still too risky to plan an event at this time. One would have to think that by May next year things should be back to normal with no restrictions. Once again in the coming months we will monitor the situation and make decisions / commitments based on how the current situation and outlook are around that time. We are committed to planning a safe and successful convention.”
