Bosch Rexroth welcomes PM Harper

The Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada recently visited the Bosch Rexroth Canada at its headquarters in Welland, Ont. Working collaboratively with the Prime Minister’s office and security team, Bosch Rexroth, Bosch Canada leadership and a large assembly of associates welcomed the Prime Minister, during his visit in the region.

Bosch Rexroth Canada President, Tom Light said, “This was a unique and tremendous opportunity for our company. I was honoured that the Prime Minister took the time out of his busy schedule to visit and tour our headquarters and meet with our associates, as well as witness our unique technology first hand.”

The Prime Minister took a keen interest to speak with our engineering staff, and received a brief overview about Bosch Rexroth’s applications and solutions. The tour was rounded out with a final walk through of our Machine, Fabrication and Assembly facility.

Concluding the Prime Minister’s tour, Michael Langstaff, VP Finance and Administration for Robert Bosch, together with Dino Paladino, Director Systems for Bosch Rexroth Canada, presented Prime Minister, Stephen Harper a plaque, to commemorate his visit.
