Brink Forest Products Fined $37K for unsafe work practices

WorkSafeBC has fined Brink Forest Products $37,639.56 for unsafe work practices.

According to the Prince George Citizen, the company was fined on Oct. 4 in response to a July 3 inspection to determine if Brink had completed a safeguarding audit and added new guards. A WorkSafeBC report revealed that the inspector found Brink had done so, but found two safeguards had been left open, and a third safeguard was not adequately constructed.
