Canada not committed to new SLA deal?

March 9, 2016 - According to a recent article from Bloomberg, the federal government may “test the waters of quote-free softwood lumber trade with the U.S.”

The article states that Canada’s will not commit to reaching a deal with its largest trading partner before next October, when the U.S. government’s commitment to not initiate trade remedy action is set to expire.
