Canadian Forest Industries changes circulation auditor

January 8, 2016 – Canadian Forest Industries has moved its circulation audit to the Alliance for Audited Media (AAM). CFI enjoys Canada’s largest audited forestry circulation, and the move is designed to streamline the audit process and allow for more detailed reports.

“CFI is owned by Annex Business Media, Canada’s largest business media company,” explains Scott Jamieson, director of content and engagement with Annex and group publisher for CFI. “As such, we third-party audit over 30 publications to verify the quality of our distribution. By moving all these magazines to one audit bureau, we can improve the efficiency of the process and work with AAM to modernize and automate the whole process. At the same time this move makes AAM a leader in trade publishing audits.”

Third-party circulation audits are an important tool to allow advertisers confidence that magazines are reaching their target audience. CFI has been an audited publication for decades.

Annex Business Media is Canada’s largest and fastest growing business media companies, with over 50 media titles and 200 employees, including Canadian Forest Industries, Canadian Biomass, Pulp & Paper Canada, Opérations forèstieres et de scierie, woodbusiness.ca, and Rock to Road.

The Alliance for Audited Media is a non-profit, member-based organization that empowers media companies to transact with greater trust and confidence. Led by North America’s leading advertisers, advertising agencies, advertising technology providers and content providers, AAM is committed to providing independently verified data and information critical to evaluating and purchasing media.
