Canfor opening U.S. headquarters in Alabama

Aug. 30, 2016 - Canfor Southern Pine, the U.S. branch of Canfor, is establishing its corporate headquarters in Mobile, Ala. The company's Myrtle Beach, S.C., office will remain open as a hub for its four mills in the Carolinas.

Canfor Southern Pine comprises 11 saw mills, four secondary manufacturing plants and a trucking company, and employs 1,900 people.
