BRON

With low ground pressure and easy transportable features, the new BRON 275 gives contractors all the strength of a BRON mulcher in a compact size. Built on a D3 undercarriage, the 275 has a low 3.5 psi ground pressure rating. Fully hydrostatic, BRON’s 275 mulcher is powered by a Cat C7 engine, producing 275 horsepower for grinding trees and undergrowth into fine mulch. The operating weight and size also make it possible to haul two power units together on one flatbed for more economical travel. CMI

Davco

Davco’s newest offering is the Pacu 5 Mulcher, which features universal quick attach with Davco Saftey Locks and Anti-Cavitation Protection. The Pacu 5 is direct driven on both ends for a better loader balance, with no pulleys, no belts and no planetary drive. The side plate horns for positioning deadfall, moving objects out of the way, as well as aiding in containing the mulch for a safer operation and a finer finish. By mounting the hose plumbing on the left, closer to the quick couplers, excessive hose lengths have been reduced between the head and the carrier and this makes getting into and out of the cab easier. The curved brush guide pulls the lighter brush in toward the centre of the head, letting the rotating patented drum grab the brush for easier and finer finish without having to make multiple passes.
