Minister Ng applauds NAFTA Panel's decision on U.S. softwood lumber duties

Canada is pleased that the NAFTA dispute panel agrees that elements of the U.S. dumping determination are inconsistent with U.S. law, said Trade Minister Mary Ng.

"Time and again, neutral third-party reviews of the softwood lumber dispute have confirmed these duties are unjustified," said B.C. Forest Minister Bruce Ralston.


BC Lumber Trade Council applauds NAFTA Panel decision on softwood lumber tariffs

The association welcomes the NAFTA panel decision "sending essential aspects of the U.S. Department of Commerce's flawed antidumping investigation determination back for further review."
