Edgewood invests in Carrot River

April 6, 2015 – C and C Resources Inc. has announced that it plans to invest $25 million into the Edgewood Forest Products Carrot River Mill.

According to an article from the Nipawin Journal, the investment is being made with the help of recently announced processing tax incentives introduced by the province.

The mill will replace its current primary breakdown line, as well as the kiln, as part of the investment. Edgewood is working with German manufacturer Linck on the replacement of the sawline.

The upgrade is projected for completion by January of 2016. The newline will increase lumber production from 100mbft to 140mbft annually.
