The twin swing drive system provides powerful swing torque and reduced gear tooth loads for excellent performance and reliability in demanding processing applications. The F7-150 heavy duty forestry undercarriage provides a stable base of operations, improving performance and operator comfort.
The Sennebogen 830 M-T is a purpose-built material handler adapted specifically for wood yard applications. It is a compact 91,300-pound loader on a rubber-tired undercarriage specially engineered to pull heavy log trailers. A 360-degree lift radius lets it work efficiently between tight rows with minimal maneuvering. Equipped with a Sennebogen K14 boom, the 830 M-T reaches up to 45 feet to build stacks up to 25 feet high. The longer K19 boom adds 10 feet more reach for higher stacking. The 830’s elevating Maxcab lets operators work at eye level with their stacks.
The Komatsu PC290LL-11 is available in either a 40-foot reach live heel log loader, 32-foot reach processor or 34-foot reach road builder configuration for high performance in demanding logging applications. Key features include a high-capacity cooling system, high drawbar pull, robust forestry-specific guarding, narrow 11-foot five-inch transport width, comfortable operator controls, all LED lighting, Komtrax 5.0 technology and Komatsu CARE complimentary maintenance program. Powerful PC360-class final drives generate 64,250 pounds of drawbar pull for excellent shovel logging and rough terrain performance. A rugged PC390-class swing motor and drive delivers high swing torque for superior log loading, processing and road building performance.
The Link-Belt 3240 TL forestry machine features a powerful, fuel-efficient 160-hp Final Tier 4 engine that doesn’t require a DPF, matched to a larger fuel tank that keeps you working longer. Link-Belt redesigned the control valve and incorporated spool stroke control (SSC) functions into the hydraulic system to reduce pressure loss and distribute oil more smoothly, increasing lift capacity up to four per cent. Oregon OSHA/ROPS/WCB-certified cabs are 8082-2 compliant; available with sky roof and escape hatch. Choose rear-entry or side-entry cabs and risers; impact-resistant polycarbonate windows. RemoteCARE telematics keep a watchful eye on performance, maintenance intervals and theft deterrence. Convenient access to all service points.
The John Deere G-Series log loaders are designed to increase efficiency and improve the operator experience. The spacious standard rear-entry cab features floor-mounted windows, improving visibility to the tracks. An optional longer track on the 2156G and 2656G models increases stability and lift capacity, and larger lower rollers on the 2156G and 3156G models improves roller life. Ground-level servicing and conveniently located filters, fluid-fill locations, and grease points help ease daily checks and preventative maintenance. The G-Series log loaders are now equipped with TimberMatic Maps and TimberManager, which work in tandem to provide real-time production and location data, increasing productivity.

Pierce’s long history of high-lift Paralifts reach back to the design’s inception – and long before European loaders were even involved in log yards. Since then, Pierce has continued to improve on the original design, resulting in loaders that offer unsurpassed reliability and performance. Outstanding productivity and remarkable longevity are the hallmarks of Paralifts. In fact, many of them have logged as many as 50,000 to 70,000 hours on the meter. Decades of experience with this product have led to the creation of countless purpose-built, high-lift Paralift loaders for handling shortwood – all designed to maintain high visibility for safe and efficient production. And with grapple options suitable for eight- to 16-foot lengths, Pierce Paralifts will likely meet just about any log yard requirement.
