Feds launch next call for proposals for Indigenous Forestry Initiative

The next call for proposals for the Indigenous Forestry Initiative (IFI) is now open. The IFI looks to support Indigenous participation in forestry-related opportunities, businesses, careers and governance.

The federal government is looking to invest in projects that will create opportunities for increased Indigenous participation in the forest industry and bioeconomy, as well as create and retain jobs in Indigenous communities.

The deadline to apply is July 7, 2021.
