Ferries could reduce log haul costs in Ontario
Jan. 2, 2017 - Two northwestern Ontario First Nations are considering restoring ferry service across lake Lac Seul to reduce the cost of hauling logs from harvest sites to mills in the ares.

The consideration is part of a study led by the Obishikokaang Resources Corporation, a forest management company owned and operated by Lac Seul First Nation. The study should be complete in March.
