First Nation sues Manitoba, Louisiana Pacific-Canada over forest rights

A First Nation in northern Manitoba is suing the province and Louisiana Pacific-Canada over logging in Duck Mountain that they say took place without notice or consultation over 15 years.

Minegoziibe Anishinabe (formerly Pine Creek First Nation) filed a notice of application in a Manitoba courtroom Wednesday, Global News reports.
