Contractors and forest managers across Canada are invited to join Canadian Forest Industries at our new in-person event, OptiLog Forum, happening June 8 in Kelowna, B.C.

OptiLog is a time-effective and affordable educational event to expose Canadian loggers to the future of harvesting technologies and processes. We’ve lined up industry-leading researchers and manufacturers who can share critical insight into the future of logging. In just one day of sessions, you will come away knowing what’s coming down the forestry equipment and technology pipeline.

Featured session: Effective working – using simulators to boost efficiency

There are numerous ways of working with forest machines, but some ways are more efficient and productive than others, and the only way to find out was through expensive trial and error. Using real-life examples from Canadian contractors, Ponsse’s Jussi Jurvanen will share how simulators can improve operational efficiency. This presentation will include an additional half hour for attendees to check out Ponsse’s on-site simulators.
