Caterpillar
The Cat 568 FM is the latest and largest in the line of Cat Forest Machines that can be configured for many forestry applications, including log loading. The 568 has more horsepower, heavy-duty upper frames, increased thickness on the sheet metal enclosures, and added forestry guarding. New boom and stick design increases durability. The unique swing bearing design, combined with dual swing drives, provides superior performance needed for heavy lift and swing log loading applications.

Hitachi
The largest of the Hitachi Forester family, ZX370F-3 is a powerful force to be reckoned with. From its tough, next-class-up swing and travel systems to the strengthened rugged upperstructure and heavy-duty undercarriage, it can take on the wildest of woods. The purpose-built processing front eliminates the need for boom-tip and hoist-cylinder adapters. The ZX370F-3 also features optional rear-entry cab with integral 48- or 72-inch risers and is available in Road Builder, Live Heel and Butt-n-Top Models.

John Deere
Deere’s Knuckleboom Loaders are strong, fast, and able to endure a steady pace, day after day. For superior productivity, the 335D, and 437D have exceptional swing torque, horsepower, hydraulic pump flow and lift capacity. For greater uptime and durability, there’s a new, larger swing system. And for incredible efficiency, both have an “auto idle” feature that saves fuel, while the 437D has load-sensing hydraulics built to stand the test of time.

Komatsu
With a flywheel horsepower of 257 hp (192 kW), the Komatsu PC390LL-10 is powered by a Komatsu SAA6D114E-5 engine and is EPA Tier 4 Interim and EU Stage 3B emission certified. Weighing in at 106,924 lb. (48,500 kg) in log loader configuration, the PC390LL-10 has improved efficiency, 5 per cent greater horsepower, lower fuel consumption, a new Oregon OSHA OPS/ROPS compliant forestry cab for improved operator comfort, and enhanced serviceability to maximize productivity while lowering operating costs. The PC390LL-10 is equipped with the latest KOMTRAX technology, which sends machine operating information to a secure website utilizing wireless technology.

Liebherr
The Liebherr L 580’s newly designed lifting gear means that the logs can be taken up from above at a great height, which makes the L580 well-suited for work such as the loading and unloading of trucks or feeding bark removal and sorting installations. The grab can be rotated through 360° as well as pivoting forwards and backwards. The driver’s cab has a roof window to provide the best possible view upwards, and the protective grille for the front windscreen is integrated directly into the lifting gear. The L580 has a stepless hydrostatic drive system, which achieves impressive fuel savings. Other advantages are the practically wear-free service brake and the extremely low tyre wear.

Madill
The Madill 2850C and 3800C log loaders provide diverse options for reliable and durable machines for the most demanding logging environments. The 300 hp 2850 and 325 hp 3800 come equipped with Cummins Tier 3 engine technology. Both come with the option of Butt N Top or Heel booms and high swing torques for maximum work site efficiency.

Sennebogen
Transporting and handling timber has become much easier with Sennebogen’s new 830 M-T trailer puller material handling machine. With it all-wheel drive, the 830 M-T has excellent pulling capacity, high lifting capacities, smooth acceleration and easy access to and from the cab.

The 830 M-T is equipped with a powerful six-cylinder, inline, Cummins engine. A machine specially designed for extreme working conditions, the 830 M-T features a very strong boom system with a working radius of up to 45 ft.

Tigercat
The new Tigercat 880 logger is a multi-purpose, no compromise carrier designed for loading, shovel logging and processing. The 880 is purpose-built to eliminate the design compromises found in excavator conversions. The upper frame assembly and undercarriage are designed for full forest duty.

Some of the many advantages include high cooling capacity, stronger undercarriage components and extremely efficient hydraulic systems, including Tigercat’s energy recovery swing system. The result is higher production, uptime and fuel efficiency for lower operating cost per tonne.
