The Logset THXtender kit consists of a harvester head (TH65 Logset announced its new THXtender preparation kit for transforming an excavator into an efficient harvester.

The kit consists of our harvester head (TH65, TH75 or TH75X), an extender boom with bucket and the TOC-MD measuring device.

The THXtender boom makes the excavator-harvester more versatile and complete, while the bucket at the end of the THXtender boom improves the maneuverability of the excavator. The bucket can be used for smaller earthmoving tasks, such as moving stones and levelling the terrain as well as for pulling and pushing the machine in difficult terrain, or for support when making a sharp turn or crossing a ditch. The boom offers an almost 3 m longer reach, which will also improve the production of the machine. When using the bucket or moving the machine longer distances, the boom can grab the harvester head, so that the head will not swing. The hoses leading to the harvester head are also well protected inside the boom.

The TOC-MD measuring device continuously optimizes bucking and cutting window search, while the patented automatic pre-delimbing together with the traction control and power delimbing guarantee a high quality end result. The innovative sequence mode and flexible automation levels help the operator gain higher productivity. The sequences adapt to the work phases, giving the operator freedom to interfere with the operation and then continue the sequence.
