Caterpillar
Cat track feller bunchers boost production and also are known for their efficiency and low ownership and operating costs. Four models, with a variety of boom and stick arrangements, offer the best combination of lift capacity, swing torque, and track power. They feature the Cat PRO (Parallel Reach Operation) System, which simplifies joystick controls and ease of operation for a smoother, more fluid harvesting motion, improving machine performance.

Tigercat
The Tigercat LX830D is a minimal tail-swing, levelling feller buncher designed for steep-slope thinning and final felling applications. The closed loop track drive provides outstanding speed and performance along with greater hydraulic efficiency. The powerful 330 hp (245 kW) Tigercat FPT engine is quick and responsive for high performance and productivity. The Tigercat ER boom system allows the operator to extend and retract the boom in a horizontal motion quickly using a single joystick, improving fuel efficiency, increasing production and reducing operator fatigue.

Tigercat’s levelling undercarriage uses two massive hydraulic cylinders and heavy steel sections for a solution that is robust and reliable.

Barko
Barko’s purpose-built 260B-F feller buncher is driven by a 225-hp Cummins QSB6.7 Tier 4 Final diesel engine. Offering 10 per cent more peak torque than the previous model, the unit delivers superior productivity and fuel efficiency. The 260B features a D7A undercarriage with 8” chain pitch for added stability with larger attachments in the 60,000-lb. class machine size. It delivers exceptional drawbar pull (1.13 to 1 ratio) and provides 65,481 foot-pounds of tractive effort. Dual swing motors provide continuous rotation and 50,787 foot-pounds of swing torque. Brute strength is complemented by responsive IQAN hydraulic controls, newly enhanced to provide even smoother operation.

Eltec
Available in harvester or fell buncher configuration, the Eltec 3 Series are equipped with a Tier IV Cummins QSL9 engine and a Sauer Danfoss Plus One controller allowing limitless commands configurations. Full-length cab windows increases peripheral vision and the spacious cab adds to operator comfort. The unit offers a standard swing torque of 85,000 foot-pounds and smooth operation.
