Tigercat 610E skidder Tigercat recently released its latest Tier 4 equipped offering

The skidder’s Tigercat FPT Tier 4f engine offers 203 hp at 2,200 rpm. The engine features SCR emission control technology, automatic variable engine speed and an operator-controlled maximum speed setting. The vehicle has a top speed of 21 km per hour.

The 610E comes standard with Tigercat’s efficient high-speed (EHS) hydrostatic drive system. The EHS system features minimal wheel spin in adverse terrain and is capable of high speeds in forward and reverse. It has the option of taking one of the drive motors offline when high tractive effort is not required. In this case, all pump flow is directed to one hydraulic motor, increasing both travel speed and motor efficiency.

The skidder also features a two-position turnaround seat with ergonomic joystick steering and full rear-facing drive controls. It has grapple and arch functions controlled by one joystick and offers visibility to the sides of the engine house.

The vehicle’s high capacity cooling system has an automatic variable pitch fan for reduced fuel consumption in cold climates and a reversing airflow to keep the heat exchangers clean.
