HewSaw to attend Intersaw
May 20, 2014 - HewSaw will be one of the exhibitors at InterSaw, a trade show for the sawmilling and secondary woodworking industry to be held in Montreal in September. The show will be combined with Canada Woodworking East and held at the Olympic Stadium and together, the two shows are expected to attract 5,000 visitors and 250 exhibitors.
"For us it's primarily a networking show," says Bill Tice, Marketing Manager for the company. HewSaw has a lot of customers in Eastern Canada so the show provides the opportunity to meet face to face with them and meet new potential clients.
HewSaw will also be showing videos of its newer sawlines during the show featuring the latest technology in European sawlines, one of which is going into a sawmill in Idaho. Depending on the timing, if there is any new equipment that is being installed in the area, it may be brought to the show for display.
It may be early for HewSaw to have solidified its plans but the company was quick to sign up as an exhibitor as an opportunity to mingle with the industry as the market ramps back up in North America and globally. The show runs from September 26 to 27, 2014 at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Que.
