Imperial Cedar sifts through ashes

Sept. 27, 2013, Maple Ridge, B.C. – A cedar remanufacturing plant that was destroyed by fire in Maple Ridge on Wednesday plans to rebuild. The company wants to bring its eight employees back to work making shakes and shingles.

Imperial Cedar Products has been sifting through the wreckage to find salvageable equipment. The metal machinery could have survived the fire if it wasn't exposed to too much heat.
