The announcement was made by The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec.

“By investing in the improvement and commercialization of PG Corporate and Forestry Solutions software, the Government of Canada is showing proof once again of its determination to do what is needed to boost the growth potential of businesses,” said Minister Lebel.

PG Corporate and Forestry Solutions designs and develops management tools for sawmills, forestry cooperatives, forest entrepreneurs and wood processing companies. These computer tools, which are integrated into accounting software, are intended to help clients more effectively manage and analyze their operations. They are also used to produce financial statements.

To better meet the needs of its clients, PGSCF has already carried out research and development on a new platform to support the software suite. Its commercialization will follow in the coming months in preparation for the entry into force of Quebec’s new forest regime.
