InterSaw, the International Sawmilling Expo, returns to the Olympic Stadium in beautiful Montreal this autumn. Taking place November 2nd and 3rd, 2016, this major event only happens every two years and attracts industry representatives from across Canada, as well as the northeastern United States.
InterSaw’s 2016 edition will feature the latest, state-of-the-art, most technologically-advanced equipment on the market. A full spectrum of technology will be showcased: from influences in the log-yard, through primary and secondary breakdown, to the final shipping of the product.
The show is recognized as a key event for the industry and, as such, has garnered the proud support of various industry leaders, including:
- Conseil de l’industrie forestière du Québec (CIFQ)
- J.D. Irving, Limited
- EACOM Timber Corporation
- Groupe Rémabec
In addition to over 200,000 square feet of exhibits and equipment displays, including the latest biomass equipment available to the sawmilling industry, InterSaw will also offer comprehensive seminar series free of charge to all show visitors.
InterSaw will once again be co-located with Canada Woodworking East at Olympic Stadium. As Eastern Canada’s only bilingual secondary wood event, the show connects secondary woodworkers with manufacturers and distributors of the machinery, hardware and accessories needed to transform wood into sought-after products.
