Irving expecting to hire 7,800

Feb. 18, 2015 – Representatives from J.D. Irving Ltd. are scouring college and university campuses throughout Atlantic Canada in an effort to recruit young workers.

According to a report from Pulp and Paper Canada, the company is looking to fill internship, summer employment and co-op opportunities during their visits to school throughout Eastern Canada.

Irving is expecting to hire upwards of 7,800 people from 2015-2017 to fill positions for retiring staff as well as in areas of expected business growth.
