J.D. Irving loses appeal

July 4, 2014 – The New Brunswick Court of Appeal ruled against J.D. Irving and the company's practice of buying wood directly from private woodlot owners rather than going through the province's forest marketing boards. The company alledges that the marketing boards are biased against it but the court found insufficient evidence of these claims.
