
B.C. Court of Appeal Justice Sunni Stromberg-Stein has granted a temporary injunction at Teal Jones Group’s logging site in Fairy Creek, B.C., because of the potential economic harm to the company if there is no injunction.
According to CBC News, lawyers for Teal Jones argued for an interim injunction against the old-growth logging blockades in the area while they appeal a recent Supreme Court decision that ended the original year-long injunction.
