Ledwidge Lumber president joins NS forestry transition team

Doug Ledwidge, president and CEO of Enfield, N.S.-based Ledwidge Lumber, has joined Nova Scotia’s forestry transition team, which was created to help the province’s forestry workers and businesses impacted by the impending closure of Northern Pulp.

According to a government press release, Ledwidge has experience in sawmill operations and bring this perspective to the team. He participated in a team meeting earlier this week that approved a new $5-million program to help contractors impacted by the closure.
