Logset launches new harvester head
Logset's new TH55 harvester head is a lightweight and compact all-round harvester head for thinning and small trunked clear felling.

Together with its harvester LOGSET 5H GT it is optimal for thinning, according to the company. The TH55’s low weight, makes it possible to work with the crane on full reach and still have excellent control of the harvester head.
The synchronized feeding system ensures can also handle bent trees. Stem diameter measurement on both main knives ensures an accurate measurement, unaffected by variation in temperature and tree species.
A fully hydraulic length-measuring wheel gives consistent measuring in all conditions. The head can be equipped with a rear knife and feeding wheels, designed for bunch processing.
Logset’s TH Harvester Head range consists of compact heads well suited for a broad tree size range, and covers now five models that can handle trees with a maximum diameter of 45-75 cm. Some key features are improved hose routing, serviceability, strong de-limbing knives and synchronized feeding. The TH Harvester Heads work seamlessly with the LOGSET TOC-MD measuring device and all LOGSET GT Harvesters.
