Swedish transport company LOTS Group has announced a new partnership with Mosaic Forest Management on Vancouver Island.

LOTS, through its partner Munden Ventures based in Kamloops, B.C., will transport roundwood from loading sites in the forest to facilities in the Port Alberni area.

“The new partnership has solid foundations based on a shared view on the importance of sustainability, safety, and efficiency improvements in the transport industry,” the company said in a news release posted on LinkedIn.

“We are proud to expand our business to Vancouver Island together with Mosaic. We aim to build on the existing knowledge and tradition in the area to provide a world-class transport service to Mosaic,” Greg Munden, president of Munden Ventures and MD LOTS Canada, said in the release.
