Luc Theriault named president of Paper Excellence’s wood products division

The Paper Excellence Group has appointed Luc Theriault as president of its Wood Products business unit, effective August 26, 2024. Theriault previously held senior leadership roles at Resolute Forest Products, culminating as senior vice president of wood products.

“His deep understanding of our business and innovative approach will be invaluable,” said John Williams, non-executive chairman of Paper Excellence Group.

In his new role, Theriault will oversee the profitable and sustainable operations of the legacy Resolute wood products operations, reporting to the management board. “I look forward to working with our talented team and partners to create new opportunities for growth and innovation,” said Theriault.
