Lumber execs want SLA that reflects differences

Oct. 6, 2016 - Some chief executives of lumber producers in Canada are stressing differences between forestry realities across the country, asking for a soft-wood lumber deal that reflects those differences.
Ten of Canada’s largest lumber producers were among the group that met with the U.S. trade representative Wednesday, a week before the SLA one-year freeze expires.
