Weston Forest Products made changes to its management structure with the addition of four new partners.

Rick Ekstein, president and CEO, announced that Steven Ekstein, Steve Rhone, Steven Rustja and Rob Hruby have been made partners in the company.

“These four individuals embody the future of Weston Forest,” said Ekstein in a press release. “All four individuals have grown up in the Weston organization and the forest products industry, and have broad experience in operations, purchasing, sales and management. All four were appointed officers of the company three years ago, and I am very proud that in addition to being part of the management structure, they are now my partners.”

Entering its 60th year of business, Weston grew from a small local lumber yard to a multi-facetted distribution and remanufacturing organization doing business in over 40 countries, before splitting into different entities to allow senior managers the opportunity to take equity positions.

“While we have a 60 year history, the current Weston Forest Products Inc. is really a new organization filled with a young team” said Ekstein.

“This is an exciting time for Weston as we solidify our team and hone our strategic plans. I look forward to creating opportunities for more members of our team, and working with them to continue the Weston legacy of bringing continuous value to customers, suppliers and staff”
