Manitoba First Nation files lawsuit to pause logging on traditional territory

A second First Nation in Manitoba has filed a lawsuit asking for a halt to forestry practices on their traditional territory, which they say have been ongoing without meaningful consultation for 16 years.

Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation joins Minegoziibe Anishinabe in naming Manitoba government and Louisiana-Pacific Canada Inc. in their respective lawsuits.
