Meeting on herbicide spray program postponed in NB
Aug. 16, 2017 - A meeting between J.D. Irving and Petitcodiac, N.B., town council over the use of glyphosate herbicide has been postponed to accommodate a large group of public protesters.

New Brunswick Public Health has stated glyphosate is not a health risk to those exposed to it, however the World Health Organization calls the herbicide a “probable carcinogen”.
