More concerns raised about N.S. clearcutting
Sept. 12, 2016 - The organization that first raised concerns about Nova Scotia allowing clearcutting near a protected area in the province is once again in the news after learning about other proposed harvest sites.

Chris Miller, national conservation biologist with Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS), says the department of natural resources has proposed cutting forests up to the boundaries of 15 other protected spaces.
Miller recently set up a webpage to alert the public to proposed harvest sites, and to show them how to submit comments to the department.
