More than 50 protestors arrested in one day at Fairy Creek

On Tuesday, May 25, 58 protestors were arrested at Fairy Creek, where the RCMP is enforcing a BC Supreme Court’s injunction preventing blockades on forest roads in Tree Farm License 46, controlled by Teal-Cedar Products.

According to Nanaimo News Bulletin, since enforcement of the ban began, 127 protestors have been arrested.

The RCMP says all arrests have been made within the area of the injunction.
