NB restricts forestry operations due to wildfire risk
Aug. 4, 2017 - Record-high forest fire risk across New Brunswick has forced the provincial government to restrict the hours of forest operations that involve mechanical equipment.

Environment minister Rick Doucet told CBC News the order is rare. “I believe it’s been 20 years that this type of activity has been exercised but under the current conditions we really need to take proactive measures here,” he said.
