New app makes surveying easier

Sept. 30, 2014 – A new app developed in Finland has the potential to modernize the way forests are surveyed. Two former Nokia employees launched Trestima in 2012 to make the process more cost-efficient, accurate and reliable. It captures and analyzes the number, height, width and volume of trees and stores the forestry data on the cloud.
