New leadership at Interfor

Jul 19, 2013, Vancouver – International Forest Products announced two new Canadian executive positions – Ian Fillinger as vice-president of Canadian Operations and Otto Schulte as vice-president of Strategic Forestry Initiatives.

In his new position, Fillinger will assume responsibility for all of Interfor's Canadian operations, with a mandate to drive new levels of integration and performance from those operations. Schulte will work on the Company's behalf with the B.C. government and other partners on matters affecting the operating and investment climate in the province's forest sector with a goal of increasing opportunities for reinvestment and future growth.

Prior to this appointment, Fillinger was senior general manager with responsibility for Interfor's Adams Lake, Coastal Manufacturing and US Southeast operations. Schulte was most recently vice-president of Coastal Operations.
