Nova Scotia needs long-term plan: forester
Sept. 14, 2016 - A forester in Nova Scotia with more than 30 years of experience in the industry says the provincial government needs a long-term plan for forestry.

Harold Alexander and four other people from the province are travelling to Finland to learn how the forest industry in the country out performs, yet remains sustainable, split between private and public lands.
There is significant debate in Nova Scotia after the provincial government released an update to its natural resources strategy in August, which moves away from a previous promise to reduce clear cutting.
