Number of out-of-control wildfires in BC drops to 16

The number of out-of-control wildfires in B.C. dropped to 16 over the Labour Day weekend.
As of Monday, September 7, there were 210 active wildfires in the province. Eleven were classified as “wildfires of note.”
As a result, the Canadian Armed Forces deployment to the province has ended, reports CTV News.
