Officials warn about extreme wildfire behaviour in B.C.

Aug. 15, 2017 - Fire officials say high winds have led to extreme wildfire behaviour in the Cariboo region of B.C., which sparked new evacuations over the weekend.
The Hanceville Riske Creek fire is more than 190,000 hectares in size as of Monday and shows no sign of slowing down.
Other areas of B.C. are also volatile. The growth of the fire at Elephant Hill spurred new evacuations in the B.C. Interior.
