The Ontario government announced today that $315,3000 will go to Garden River Truss, a roof and floor truss manufacturer, to purchase new equipment to increase production capacity. This will result in the creation of 10 full-time jobs.

The company, located in Garden River First Nation, produces standard roof trusses for homes, garages and sheds, and specializes in designing and producing custom roof and floor trusses.

“We’re proud of the strong partnership we have built with Garden River First Nation,” said Gerry Greco, president of Garden River Truss, in a statement. “This investment will help us grow the business, hire new staff and continue contributing to this community.”
